Activities of Daily Living is Vital to Good Health

There are many people who do not pay attention to how they spent every minute, hour, day of each week, yet they expect to be happy in life.  Henceforth, begin to pay attention to your daily activities. Draw up a flexible weekly program of weekly activities with the help of a diary. Remember, every day, your thoughts are very important. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he ( Proverbs 23:7).

In drawing up your positive activities, try to account for how every hour is spent daily. For example, taking Monday as an example, let assume your usual wake up time is 0700 hours, depending on your level of spirituality and your level of employment, your list of activities could look like this:

0700-0800: Thanksgiving, worship the Lord, honor & appreciate Him for keeping you alive and for waking you up.


0800-0900: Relaxation program/ leave for work


If you are unemployed, your activities could include:

Study time

Using the library

Using the gyme

Doing some online courses

Meal time


House work

Visiting friends/ family etc.


Idleness is one of the worse killer. Always have activities to keep yourself positively occupied. There are three broad levels of activities: Physical activities, mental activities and spiritual activities. Balancing activities within the three levels is important in achieving optimal health.


Good health is not merely the absence of disease or sickness, it’s about being functional.

Remaining healthy is an individual and collective responsibility.

To enjoy optimal healthy living, you have to learn to examine your thoughts, feeling and actions. Some people find it difficult to acknowledge bitterness, anger, guilt and hatred towards others. Denying and surpressing such negative emotions is at your own peril.

The plan of the divine Creator of the universe is that you should enjoy all round prosperity. His plan is for you to enjoy material prosperity, mental prosperity and spiritual prosperity.

Never forget, as a man thinks in his heart , so is he.  You can go higher in your current level of living, by realigning your thoughts with the highest power.

Stop limiting yourself. The Spirit you received from ABOVE has no limit. He is not limited in knowledge, wisdom and power, so are you. Do not limit yourself through your thoughts.


Knowledge is power, you need understanding to be victorious in life.

Yes, you have a responsibility to be happy in life
